Students in the Horticulture/Landscape Specialist program can now earn certification as an irrigation technician.

Through a new partnership with Hunter Industries, students are learning about irrigation products and processes as an embedded supplement to the curriculum. Their new skills are vital to the increased application of sustainable practices in the field of landscaping.

Headquartered in San Marcos, California, Hunter is a global leader in the irrigation, custom manufacturing and architectural and landscape lighting industries. FVTC’s Horticulture programs are known for their award-winning landscape structures, involvement in community landmarks and robust industry partnerships.
