Who is Eligible:
- Must be a Wisconsin resident
- An adult with a high school diploma, GED, or HSED, who has been out of high school for two years.
- An adult who has not taken any college courses within two years of their anticipated FVTC start.
- An adult who is not currently attending college classes.
- An adult who plans to pursue an associate degree, technical diploma, or certificate for their first semester of study.
*Current students and high school seniors are not eligible to apply.
*You do not need to apply or be admitted to a program to complete the scholarship application.
How to Apply:
- Complete this simple online AdultStart scholarship application if you are planning to attend FVTC within the next two semesters. Applications for start dates at later times will be disqualified.
- Please note: you must be enrolled in FVTC courses for the scholarship to be added to your account. If you do not enroll in classes before the communicated deadlines, you may lose the scholarship. At this point, you will need to reapply to the scholarship for your new anticipated start.
Application Deadlines:
- August 1 for the fall term
- December 1 for the spring term
- May 1 for the summer term
