Federal Work-Study Program

Federal Work-Study is a form of federal financial aid that provides part-time jobs for degree-seeking students, so you can earn money to help pay education expenses. Work-Study positions are only open to students who received Work-Study as part of their financial aid award. The program encourages community service work and work related to your studies.

Work-study jobs are available in areas such as: 

  • Accounting
  • Child Care
  • Clerical
  • Computer
  • Food Services
  • Marketing
  • Mechanical & Technical
  • Miscellaneous/Tutors
  • Natural Resources/Agriculture
  • Off Campus
  • Oshkosh (Riverside Campus, Spanbauer Center and Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center)
  • Regional Centers

2019-2020 Federal Work Study Request

All positions other than child-care reading tutor are paid at $10.00 per hour. Child-care reading tutor positions are paid at a higher wage ($11.25 per hour).
