Throughout the years, gender stereotypes have perpetuated the myth of “men’s work” and “women’s work,” limiting an individual’s career choices. Don’t let gender stereotypes limit you.
What is a Non-traditional Occupation?
A Non-traditional Occupation is defined as any occupation in which women or men comprise less than 25% of the workforce. Some examples of non-traditional occupations for women are firefighter, welder, or automotive technician; examples for men include nurse, interior designer, or administrative professional.
