Ag Students Bring Home National Accolades

Agriculture students at Fox Valley Technical College earned a top finish at the National Postsecondary Agriculture Student (PAS) Organization Competitions in St. Louis. The annual event showcases the exemplary skills of agriculture students throughout the nation.

A first-place award went to student Amanda Page in the Employment Interview Agribusiness Administration event. Danielle Schlueter took home third-place honors in the Equine Specialist event, and the team of Kelvin Arnold, Melissa Casey, and Zachary Orr earned third place in the Livestock Swine Specialist category. Overall, FVTC had seven top five finishes.

The national PAS was organized in 1979 to provide opportunities for individual growth, leadership, and career preparation within the agriculture industry.
