Fox Valley Technical College and the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point (UWSP) have signed five new articulation agreements benefiting students in FVTC’s Information Technology programs.

Each of the agreements guarantee that an FVTC graduate with an associate degree from one of the college’s IT programs can transfer approximately 60 credits to UWSP. This would put the student at a junior year status with approximately 60 credits needed to complete a bachelor’s degree.

“We are very excited to announce this latest articulation agreement,” says Brooke Sumner, associate dean of Information Technology. “These agreements are a direct reflection on the superior quality of our IT programming as well as the commitment of our team.”

Here are the specific FVTC programs and how they transfer to UWSP:

  • FVTC: Associate of Applied Science Degree, Software Developer
  • UWSP Bachelor of Science Degree, Computer Information Systems – Application Development and Support option
  • FVTC: Associate of Applied Science Degree, Information Systems Security Specialist
  • UWSP: Bachelor of Science Degree, Computer Information Systems – Cybersecurity option
  • FVTC: Associate of Applied Science Degree, Network Specialist
  • UWSP: Bachelor of Science Degree, Computer Information Systems – Networking option

  • UWSP: Bachelor of Science Degree, Computer Information Systems – Networking option
  • FVTC: Associate of Applied Science Degree, Web Development & Design Specialist
