The Therapeutic Massage technical diploma will provide you with training for a professional career in massage therapy or will enhance your skills and knowledge if you’re already in the healthcare field. You’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy with specific attention focused on the musculoskeletal system and will receive a high degree of technical training with emphasis on massage techniques and therapy applications. Hands-on and practical business application will be part of your experience through the student-operated on-campus clinic. Upon successful completion, you’ll be prepared for the exam to obtain the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services massage therapy and bodywork therapy license.

With full accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission, we offer credit transfer agreements with more than 65 two-and four-year colleges.

Additional Information
This is a high demand program and capacity is limited.
FVTC is required to comply with the Wisconsin Caregiver Law (1997 WISCONSIN ACT 27). The completion of a caregiver background check includes the review of criminal records for convictions of serious crimes or a history of improper behavior. Students accepted into this program must complete a background check through discover.castlebranch.com/ (Package code: FJ31) AND complete a Background Information Disclosure (BID) form disclosing any acts, crimes, or convictions prior to program entry. The information provided in the BID form must be truthful and match any findings on the criminal record check. Information regarding this process is provided to students at the time of program application. FVTC cannot guarantee access to program enrollment or completion of the program if a criminal record prevents a student from obtaining the required state credential.
