Thomas has been a member of the Fox Valley Technical College District Board since 2014.
In 2011, he was elected Outagamie County Executive and currently oversees 31 departments that comprise 1,200 employees. In 2015 he was re-elected.
Before that, he served as Fifth District Representative to the Wisconsin Assembly, including a stint as Majority Leader, from 2008 to 2010.
After graduating from Little Chute High School in 1994, he earned a B.A. from Carleton College and an M.P.A. from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public & International Affairs at Princeton University.
He and his wife Maria have two children, Mary and George.
